The Maybach brand, which Mercedes-Benz used for a separate ultimate luxury model from 2002-2012, has returned for 2016 as Mercedes-Maybach, an ultra-luxury companion to Mercedes-AMG. The Mercedes-Maybach S600 is based on the S-Class but rides on a extended wheelbase.
